1lbsmoked sausage, kielbasa or beef sausage sliced

1small head cabbagecleaned and chopped

Seasonings:
1tspgarlic powder
1/2tsponion powder
1/2tspblack pepper
1/2tspseasoning salt

Instructions
Brown the Sausage Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add a small amount of sausage grease or oil if needed. Add sliced sausage and cook until nicely browned on both sides.
Sauté Aromatics Stir in bell pepper and onion. Cook for about 3 minutes until softened.
Add Cabbage Add cabbage and pour in 1/4 cup water. Stir everything together until well mixed.
Season Season with garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, seasoning salt, and paprika. Add butter, sugar, and hot sauce. Stir to coat evenly.
Steam and Simmer Cover with a lid and let cook 5–10 minutes, stirring once or twice, until cabbage is tender and flavors are blended.
Final Touch Taste and adjust seasoning or hot sauce if needed.
